The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, demons, and dark forces expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of characters who will split off from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, separate from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Strategists, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as important members in the powerful family could enable the team enter places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that control the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to head to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can expect learning which players will be where in the season’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
